,The ghost of the long-gone montreal based 'Guaranteed Milk Company' lives on in this unusual water tower just north of the Bell Centre, downtown Montreal.

In 1900, a company under the name 'Guaranteed Pure Milk Co.' was founded. It was located at 875 Ste-Catherine Street W. in Montreal.

This water tower, depicting a milk bottle, was built by 'Guaranteed Pure Milk Co.' of Montreal in 1932, when they opened a new pasteurization plant on Aqueduct Street.

It stands well over 20 feet by 12 feet in diameter and was used as a water reserve for the dairy until the 70's.

Today it serves as advertizing for the company.
